Earth Mother represents my earthy sensual self who loves to be outdoors in nature, who delights in physicality.  Her necklace is made of sea urchin beads, her eyes are sea shells, her lashes are blue jay feathers, and in her headdress she wears bird wings.

She says:

“I am the smell of fresh dirt and clover, manure and roses, sea spray, oysters, lavender and lime. My knees are grass stained, my fingernails caked with clay. I am a wren's nest, a sigh of wind, compost, snowmelt, dust motes, blood. I am roots and grubs, ashes, river flotsam, thunderstorms, seasons, a walk in the woods, mud squished between toes. I grow and decompose and grow again. I change, therefore I am.”
