This mask represents the process of unmasking my self.  A flesh-colored human-like mask has split and a stark white, very realistic face appears beneath, almost like a death mask, but I see it as my essence, the core of my being.  My quest is to continue unmasking my many false selves until I reach this stage of pure authenticity.  I suspect that, being human, I won't be able to achieve this, or if I do it will only be for short periods before my defenses start masking me again.  Core represents a goal to work toward.
