I made Pioneer Woman to depict that part of me that has been dragged kicking and screaming into the electronic information age.  She has a serene face and a demure kerchief, but she floats on a sea of detritus, flotsam and jetsam of modern life.  I don't know what most of the found objects are.  Just stuff.  At the upper left is a switch, although there is nothing to be turned off , because technology is forever.

She says:

“I am a chop wood, carry water woman. I was born to live on a frontier, not in this fancy hurried world.”
