My Muse
My Muse has ideas bubbling out of her head. The "bubbles" are actually made of real eggshells covered with plaster and decorated with symbols important to me. On the left near her ear (in red) is an image taken from a photographic series I did using eggs. In about the 4 o'clock position is a rabbit's eye from another series. My Muse encourages expression through writing, music, art, and introspection (symbolized by keys).
She says:
“Marry me! Marry me, for I am your muse. Creative ideas bubble from me like eggs from a queen bee, ready to be fertilized and hatched. Our union can bring to life music, dance and songs; color, images and vision; words, ideas and life. If you will not forsake me, I'll be with you always as your soulmate, your playmate and your fertile imagination. Our children will be beautiful.”
